Many people have been blown away by the skills of Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.
He’s been called a future Hall of Famer, the best player alive, and one of the greatest big men in the history of the league.
Speaking on The Volume, Jason Timpf stated that Jokic “probably does have the highest floor in NBA history.”
That is quite a claim by Timpf but he gave evidence to back it up.

Timpf said that other NBA stars have had high floors, such as LeBron James.
James is a talented shooter but can also use his aggressiveness and physicality to score if his shot isn’t landing on any given night.
Timpf said that Jokic has an even higher floor than James because he can do so much.
He can “impact the game just through his sheer size”, Timpf said, and doesn’t need to move with speed either.
Jokic can literally jog down the court and still help his team in many ways.
There really haven’t been many players like Jokic throughout NBA history.
Usually, when a man is built like him, he is a traditional center and remains in the paint for most of the game, employed to get boards and create dunks.
But Jokic is so much more than that: he’s a team leader, a playmaker, and a wonderful passer too.
He can guide his team to victory through scoring or facilitating and it sometimes looks like he doesn’t even break a sweat while doing so.
Jokic and his Nuggets just eliminated the Lakers from the playoffs and might be on their way to back-to-back Finals wins.
If they do that, it’ll be partly due to Jokic’s one-of-a-kind athleticism.
