English actor Bernard Hill, best known for his roles in Titanic and The Lord of the rings, died on Sunday. Hello, she was 79 years old.

Hill’s agent, Lou Coulson, confirmed his death to bbc.

Hill’s acting career spanned more than 50 years on both screen and stage. His latest role aired on Sunday as the father of the main character in the BBC programme. The responders.

Lindsay Salt, director of the BBC drama, described Hill as a unique actor.

“His long career filled with iconic and notable roles is a testament to his incredible talent,” Salt said in a statement.

Over the decades, Hill received several nominations and awards for her performances, including a Screen Actors Guild Award for her role in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
