Bleach’s Quality Will Skyrocket

Season 3 Will Be A Cinema-Like Experience

Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War is Pierrot’s most successful series in a long time, and this is mainly due to the quality of the show. Following its success, the studio will be switching to a seasonal format for many of its series, including Boruto and Black Clover. The studio is taking it a step further by creating a division that will make even better quality anime, surpassing its previous best and competing with studios such as Ufotable and Mappa, which are producing massive hits.

It is not uncommon for anime studios to have separate divisions for different anime. My Hero Academia is made by a different part of Bones, Sunrise has many different divisions, and Studio Bind was created just to animate Mushoku Tensei. However, Pierrot’s new branch is ambitious as it is part of the revamping of the studio’s production style.
