WWE SmackDown had the first rounds of the WWE Draft 2024. With excitement high, fans did not expect to hear the announcement of Tama Tonga’s first WWE match. While his debut with The Bloodline is still fresh in fans’ minds. Along with the WWE Draft, some big announcements were made.
Prior to the main event, Nick Aldis spoke backstage to announce some matches for Backlash. There were two matches he announced; one was Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Bayley for the WWE Women’s title. The second was Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga facing Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. On the show, Owens went after Tonga after what happened to him last week. Orton came out to help Owens, which led to the match being issued. Both men are former WWE Champions and this will be a big rub for the newest member of The Bloodline.
