A VIRAL video of a couple “having sex under a blanket” in a popular New York City park has sparked widespread outrage on TikTok.
The clip appeared to show two people “moving erratically” under a blanket in Battery Park, which was crowded at the time.

A TikTok creator shared bizarre images of the so-called “New York blanket couple” on the social media platform with the caption: “Trying to enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon in New York…”
Groups of people, including children, were seen enjoying the warm weather in the park before the camera focused on a dark blanket.
There seemed to be movement under the blanket, although it wasn’t exactly clear what the “couple” were doing.
The online video has been viewed more than 51 million times and many expressed outrage at what they were seeing.

Battery Park is a 25-acre public park on the southern tip of Manhattan Island in New York City.
People from all over the world visit “The Battery” to see the city’s past, with ferries along its shore taking visitors to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
During the summer long concerts are held in its grounds and its beautiful gardens make it a popular place for family walks.
