Derrick Henry is one of the most easily identifiable Tennessee Titans from the past decade.
Henry made a significant impact on the Titans’ run game and was one of the team’s major success stories on offense.
While he was a staple on the roster and one of their most veteran players, the Titans haven’t been doing a lot of winning over the past several years.
When it came time for a potential contract extension, it was clear that Henry wanted to go somewhere to give him a better chance of winning the Super Bowl.
After entertaining multiple offers, Henry ended up signing with the Baltimore Ravens, a team that continues to grow and improve.
The Ravens made it to the AFC Championship last season, and with Henry on their side, they could get an additional boost to propel them to the Super Bowl.
Henry recently provided a few comments via the team’s website, highlighting his reasons for joining the Ravens.
“I really want to hold that trophy up at the end of the year,” Henry said via Around The NFL.

Henry understands how dominant Lamar Jackson has been over the past few years, and it’s clear that he wanted to be a part of this team and their culture.
The Ravens also have one of the best defenses in the NFL, which tends to be music to a running back’s ears.
A solid defense means more opportunities for the offense to score, something Henry hasn’t been used to over the past few seasons in Tennessee.
