As F1 takes fans to the USA, the Miami Grand Prix gives fans a look at the American Dream. Fast cars, celebrities, music along with the rich and famous, its all a part of the Miami Grand Prix. While we expect names like Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran to be a part of the star cast, there is another name that is synonymous with America and made his presence at the GP, Donald Trump.

The Former President took a break from his trial going on in New York to attend the Miami Grand Prix and meet a few notable figures. Ever since Trump became the president of the USA, there have been many incidents that have led people to dislike him. While that’s common in Politics, fans also showed their dislike towards the team principal the presidential candidate came to meet. Let’s take a look at what was all the noise about.

Donald Trump Gets Welcomed With Loud Chanting of Boos

Donald Trump is on trial in New York for allegedly falsifying documents to cover up payments to Stormy Daniels. Amidst that, he decided to visit the McLaren garage to meet Zak Brown, and on his way, he was met with an unhappy audience who were less than thrilled to see him at the event.

A video has just surfaced where Donald Trump is entering the Hard Rock Stadium and getting Boo’d by the race attendees. US fans are not only unhappy with their former president, but also McLaren Boss who has become somewhat of a villain for fans that supported the Ron Dennis era of the team.

However, Zak Brown was not the only person that Trump came down to meet. The 77-year-old billionaire also came to meet F1 boss Stefano Domenicali and FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem as a political figure from the USA. While Trump was present at the race, he was not there for anything political and that was ensured by the hosts of the race.

When political figures are at such a public event, many come with an agenda to promote their campaign. But before that was to happen, Tom Garfinkel, CEO of the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium took actions to maintain the experience of the GP to be race-centric.

He made a statement before the race stating, “There will not be any fundraising at the event from anybody. The event is about bringing people together and we welcome everybody.” This was a sensible decision from the hosts as it is always nice to have high-profile politicians representing the country at such events and having Donald Trump there is a good thing on the former president.

Garfinkel further explained, “We don’t control people’s guest lists when they buy a suite. We want everyone to enjoy the race, and we want this to be a great environment and not something that becomes political or is used for commercial or political purposes.”
