One of the more exciting parts of this year’s NFL Draft is the draft coverage.

More specifically, the addition of arguably the greatest head coach of all time in Bill Belichick to “The Pat McAfee Show” was a special one.

Fans got to hear his takes Thursday night on draft picks and stories from when he was coaching.

One story he told had to do with the Randy Moss trade back in back in 2007.

“The most interesting trade was the Randy Moss trade…We had been trying to trade for him for two months…He (Moss) thought it was a prank,” Belichick told viewers.

It’s great to see that fans have gotten a real kick out of Belichick’s commentary.

This is the first time in a very long time that Belichick is not participating in the draft from a coaching perspective.

But nobody knows football like him.

He was the head coach of the best dynasty in the NFL for two decades.

Now, he gets to bring his expertise out in front of the camera.

It’s great to see people truly appreciate him, as well.

Once they get a glimpse of the human that he is and the stories that he has, they can’t not appreciate him.

The goofiness of Pat McAfee and his show combined with the brain of Belichick is a championship-level pairing.

Hopefully, Belichick continues down this media road for a bit longer so that fans can continue to think a little deeper about the game.
