“I Don’t Like It”: Deion Sanders Gets Brutally Honest on Harsh Transfer Portal Reality After Dylan Edwards’ Shocking Exit

NCAA college football Spring Portal has been treating Coach Prime and his team unexpectedly, especially after a successful winter recruiting. Over the past week, more than 21 players, including notable names like Cormani McClain, Alton McCaskill, and Chaze Wallace, have left the program. However, when RB Dylan Edwards left CU, Coach Sanders addressed the issue during an appearance on the ALL THE SMOKE podcast on April 25th.

“As a former NFL player, I don’t like it because I think certain trials and tribulations you have to go through to be who you are,” Sanders expressed. “They make us who we are. Everything we went through, we didn’t see it at that time because we didn’t know the Lord like now, but it shaped us, man.”

Coach Prime elaborated on the analogy and compared the transfer portal to tapping out in MMA, emphasizing the lasting impact of challenges on an individual’s character. “You can tap out when that thing gets hot on you… I don’t like that part of it because they forget that the problems travel with them,” he remarked.

Sanders’ remarks shed light on the complex emotions surrounding transfers in collegiate sports and underscore the importance of resilience in the face of adversity.
