SINGER Michael Jackson’s Neverland theme park has been brought back to life for a film about the life of the late King of Pop.
The fairground rides appear to have been repainted and the lush landscaping restored at the private amusement complex.
There was a hive of activity as scenes were filmed for “Michael,” starring his nephew Jaafar, 27, as Jackson.
is about to come out next year.
The ranch, in Santa Barbara, California, is named after Peter Pan’s fairytale house.
It fell into disuse after Jackson abandoned it in 2005.
The star left shortly after being acquitted of child abuse charges.
It was bought by American billionaire Ron Burkle in 2020 for almost £18 million.
A spokesman who had also worked as Jackson’s financial adviser said The New York Times that Burkle had seen the house as an investment.
It was initially speculated that the Neverland property would be commemorated in Jackson’s memory, like Elvis Presley’s Graceland home, but it was put up for sale in 2016.
The house was originally listed for $100 million and was reduced to $67 million the following year.
