The Los Angeles Lakers’ season may have ended with a whimper on Thursday night.

After a 112-105 loss to the Denver Nuggets in Game 3, the Lakers are now just one loss away from the year being over.

In the closing moments of the game, it was very apparent that the Lakers were going to lose and fans were not happy.

Jovan Buha reported, via NBACentral, that the people at Crypto.com Arena were chanting “Fire Darvin” at the close of the game.

This is a clear sign that even the most faithful Lakers fans have had enough of head coach Darvin Ham and want a big change in the offseason.

Following this disastrous run in the playoffs, those fans might get their wish.

A few months ago, there were reports of Ham’s job being in jeopardy but apparently Lakers owner Jeanie Buss supported Ham and believed in his vision for the team.

Now, a few months later, things could be very different.

The Lakers got through another tough season with several disappointing stretches but were able to reach the playoffs.

But just reaching the playoffs isn’t good enough, especially since the team has both LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Fans have taken issue with many of Ham’s choices, especially his resistance to making changes mid-game.

Game 3 was a very painful display of just how much the Lakers lack and it’ll be hard for the front office to ignore in the summer.

They will have to make some important choices, including creating a new deal with James and adding other players to the roster.

Ham’s job will also be considered and it wouldn’t be surprising if his time leading the Lakers is coming to an end.

The fans weighed in on Thursday night, but it remains to be seen if the front office was listening.
