After sleeping over the tough loss and waking up to a brand new Most Improved Player trophy in his closet, Tyrese Maxey broke silence on the refereeing blunders that potentially cost Philly the game last night.
Maxey made a video appearance on Inside The NBA to received his MIP honors from the panel. But the superstar guard did not forget to address his thoughts about the horrible officiating in Game 2 at MSG. According to the NBA’s last 2 minute report, Maxey was fouled twice on the crucial last minute play, that led to the Knicks’ game-winning three-pointer. But Maxey did not want to dwell in the past and looked forward to Game 3 at home, “It is what it is. It happened. You gotta let it go.”
