The NFL offseason has been nothing short of a whirlwind to this point.

Several marquee players have joined new teams, and there have been a few iconic head coaches to leave their teams after several successful seasons.

Bill Belichick was one coach to leave his long-standing team, a move that was somewhat surprising to New England Patriots fans.

Given his history of success in the League, it was expected that Belichick would take a job elsewhere after he left the Patriots.

However, after several interviews, Belichick didn’t end up getting a new job, whether it be as a head coach or a consultant.

After seeing Belichick not get a job, Nick Wright talked on “First Take” about the possibility of him linking up with a new quarterback, on a new team.

Wright indicated that the New York Giants could make a serious splash heading into 2025, saying, “with Bill Belichick floating out there, and Dak Prescott, the best quarterback in forever to hit true free agency.”

The Giants still have Daniel Jones on their roster, as Wright highlights.

However, with the talk about the Giants moving up in the draft, Wright proposed this move as an alternate solution.

They could roll with Jones for one more year, and then sign Prescott and add Belichick as their head coach heading into the 2025 season.

Wright believes the Giants can finally get back to a place of dominance within the NFC, something they have been unable to do since Eli Manning left the organization.
