On the federation’s website it is indicated that Olfati occupies second place in the standings with 62 points, thus qualifying for the Olympic Games.
This achievement is unprecedented in the history of Iranian gymnastics.
Olfati will be the only gymnast from Iran to participate in the event. She will compete on the vault apparatus with 318 gymnasts from around the world.
The 2024 Olympic Games will be held from July 26 to August 11 in the French capital.
