President Raisi says negotiations and missiles are two necessary coping strategies

Raisi stated that the Operation True Promise that Iran recently launched in retaliation against the Israeli regime indicated that the Islamic Republic strongly opposes any hostile action.

However, Iran has never walked away from the negotiating table and has always expressed its logical and admissible positions in the talks, unlike the United States and the Europeans who have repeatedly reneged on their promises, he added.

When asked if the solution to the country’s problems is missiles, negotiation or both, the president stressed: “We have emphasized many times that the Islamic Republic of Iran warmly shakes the hand of all countries that seek friendly relations with us, but some countries I have always promoted Iranophobia in the last 45 years.”

Pointing to 15 reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency that have confirmed the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program, Raisi said: “However, there is no sympathetic ear for those reports. As to whether negotiations alone can address the problem, (the answer is) no, both negotiations and the missile, when necessary, can do so. In fact, you can say that missiles (are necessary) to respond to missiles.”

Denouncing more than seven months of Israeli attack on Gaza, Raisi added that all experts believe that the winners in this field are the resistant Palestinians of Gaza and the losers are the Zionist regime and its supporters.

He described the continuation of crimes committed by the Zionist regime despite Hamas’s acceptance of a ceasefire as a shame and humiliation of the supporters of this regime in the eyes of the people of the world.

“Today, the cry for justice is heard not only in the universities of the Western world, but in all parts of the world, and it is these failures that have caused the desperation of the Zionist regime, and one of the manifestations of this desperation was the attack on the consular building of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus, against all international norms and frameworks,” the president said.
