It’s actually taken quite a long time to get approved”

Is Ali Harper Ready To Become A Real Estate Agent?

While Ali has been showing that she’s hopeful to join the Oppenheim Group in the future, her performance with the rest of the O Group agents as she’s prepared to take the real estate exam has been concerning. While Ali may have been studying, the fact that she couldn’t answer simple questions about listings for potential buyers or work alongside the agents after being prepared with information was a concern for the Selling The OC season 3 cast. Jason Oppenheim shared he wants “everyone to succeed”, but Ali may not be ready for the cut-throat world of real estate yet.

While Ali may not be ready to join the O Group just yet, there’s still time for her to learn and grow before she officially becomes a real estate agent. For the agents working at the O Group, the fact that they’ve been able to learn on the job is important. Though most of the agents who are shown on Selling The OC come into the brokerage are already licensed agents with a background, who have clients they can bring to the firm. Ali is starting fresh, so her lack of experience is understandable, but she may need more time.

While it may not be the right time for Ali to get started with the O Group, the potential for her to become a successful real estate agent is there. After working with agents like Polly Brindle and Alex Hall, Ali’s knowledge may increase enough to get her to a point where she can move forward in the real estate process. Though she shared it’s all still in progress, knowing that Ali hasn’t moved the needle much since Selling The OC season 3 began is somewhat disheartening.
