LeBron James has been in the NBA for 21 years, so he’s seen and been in pretty much every possible situation.

He’s had his fair share of success, but he’s also been in some tough spots every now and then.

That’s why facing elimination isn’t anything new for the four-time NBA champion.

Notably, despite his age, James still seems to have an extra gear for when it matters the most.

As shown by SportsCenter on Twitter, he has an NBA record of 19 games of 30+ points when facing elimination, owning a 33.6 points per game average in those situations.

Fortunately for him, he didn’t have to bring his A-Game to help the Los Angeles Lakers stave off elimination against the Denver Nuggets, as Anthony Davis finally stepped up and carried the load as he’s been expected to do since they traded for him.

James still had a solid performance in Game 4, saving most of his scoring for when the game was already out of reach, but making sure the Nuggets didn’t make their usual late-game runs to come back.

He finished the game with 30 points on 14-of-23 shooting, adding five rebounds, four assists, three steals, and one block.

The series will now head back to Denver for Game 5, and no one has ever come back from a 0-3 deficit.

Then again, this won’t be unchartered territory for one of the greatest players of all time, and he’ll have to be at his best again and keep this level of play up if they want to stand a chance.
