After becoming a legitimate superstar with the New York Giants during the first five years of his NFL career, veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has bounced around the league quite a bit as he’s struggled to stay healthy.

Since leaving the Giants, Beckham has played for three other teams, including the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, and Baltimore Ravens.

Even though he’s made an impact everywhere he’s been, he hasn’t been able to stay healthy enough for teams to commit to him on a long-term basis, which has resulted in him being on the move once again during this NFL offseason.

On Friday, after a lot of speculation about Beckham’s future, the one-time Super Bowl champion agreed to a deal with the Miami Dolphins, which sparked a reaction from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, via FinsXtra.

“I’m excited for him,” Smith said. “I’m happy for him that he’s landed to a spot where he’s got somebody like (Tua) Tagovailoa who can throw the football.”

Although Beckham is no longer the dominant force he once was on the football field, he may have landed in an ideal situation, as he will be the third-best wide receiver on the Dolphins’ roster behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

The Dolphins already had a dynamic offense that could be the best in the NFL in 2024, but the addition of Beckham, if he’s able to stay healthy, makes this team even more stacked offensively, giving Tagovailoa another target downfield and head coach Mike McDaniel another talented weapon to play with.
