The driver reportedly forgot to set the handbrake, causing the truck to roll down the hill gaining momentum before hitting and injuring 29 children.
The vehicle was being used by an ice cream seller in Kyrgyzstan, but it suddenly began accelerating towards a crowd of thousands of people.
The unfortunate driver and security men frantically ran after the truck when they realized it was out of control.
The truck is estimated to have reached around 30 mph.
Eighteen children between nine and 16 years old were hospitalized and seven of them in intensive care.
An ambulance was seen tending to the victims and children were seen lying on the grass injured.
According to a report, the terrifying accident occurred because “the driver forgot to apply the handbrake.”
