Detroit is hosting the 2024 NFL Draft, but in the run-up to the annual event, the Lions were busy locking up two of their foundational players for the foreseeable future. On Wednesday, the team announced that they had signed wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and offensive lineman Penei Sewell to four-year extensions. Both were part of GM Brad Holmes’ vaunted first draft class in 2021, and both were named to First-Team All-Pro in 2023 for the first time. They were rewarded for their efforts, as each is now the highest-paid player at their respective positions.
