We’re already in the fifth month of 2024, but new data about the 2023 box office is still coming in and we’ve learned some interesting things!
Deadline has revealed the five biggest box office flops from last year and Disney surprisingly has four of those movies.
The outlet explained that Apple Original Films movies are not included on this ranking as Apple is “a tech company, of which content is a fraction of their revenues.” They added that “losses made by Apple on movies are seen as advertising expenses to drive eyeballs to its OTT service.”
Movies like Killers of the Flower Moon and Napoleon could have potentially ended up on here though.
