With the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft set to get underway later today, all the talk in the league right now is about the quarterbacks in this draft class and where those potential star players will land on Thursday night.

Although the quarterbacks in this draft class are dominating the headlines, there are some very talented pass-catchers in this draft as well, with the majority of them being wide receivers.

The first 10 picks of the draft are expected to be quarterbacks and wide receivers, with some offensive linemen and possibly one tight end.

That tight end is Brock Bowers out of the University of Georgia, who has gotten a lot of attention as of late, as it appears the New York Jets could be very interested in taking him at No. 10 overall if he’s still available.

According to Jonathan Jones of NFL on CBS, Bowers is a player expected to be taken at some point in the top 10 on Thursday night.

The real question now is whether the Jets are willing to risk not being able to get him at No. 10 and try to trade up, especially with the recent news surfacing that the Chicago Bears are making their No. 9 overall selection available on the open market.

The Bears could be trying to leverage the pick to the Jets, knowing they want to bring in Bowers, even though Chicago might be wise to bring in one of the top wide receivers in the draft with the team expected to draft quarterback Caleb Williams at No. 1 overall.
