Two British tourists ‘seriously injured’ after being ‘attacked by a Magaluf doorman’ in a brutal attack

A Bouncer has been arrested in Magaluf after allegedly attacking two British tourists and leaving them “seriously injured”.

Both tourists needed stitches for head injuries after being taken to the Mallorcan resort hospital.

One is said to have nearly suffered permanent eye damage resulting in partial vision loss.

Two companions of the detained man have been formally identified, but not arrested, after being questioned by police.

Investigators are now searching for CCTV footage to see if the incident was filmed.

The nightclub where the assault occurred has not been identified and police have yet to make any official comment.

Last July, two bouncers were arrested after beating three people, including a woman who had previously been kicked out of a popular nightspot in Magaluf.

One of the bouncers, accused of hitting one of the victims of the attack and leaving her unconscious after kicking her in the head while she was lying on the ground, was remanded in custody after appearing before a judge.

The same doorman, investigated for an alleged charge of attempted murder, was also accused of hitting the injured man’s friend when she tried to intervene.

Earlier this month, a British tourist was seriously injured after falling in an apartment block in Magaluf.

The unnamed man was rushed to hospital with “very serious” injuries, including injuries to his face and head, in the early hours of April 6.

It was initially reported that he had fallen from the third floor of an apartment block near the Punta Ballena party area in Magaluf, known as the María Elena building.

It was later learned that he had ended up in the complex after entering through an unnoticed hole in a fence that separated it from a pedestrian walkway.
