The Los Angeles Clippers are officially in trouble.
They’re on the verge of elimination after dropping Game 5 of the series, and now they’ll have to get the job done on the road to live for another day.
They would most definitely need a better performance from Paul George, who was fairly erratic on offense in the loss.
Per Tyronn Lue, however, it was more of a team struggle throughout the course of the game.
Following the loss, he claimed that it was time to turn the page and just focus on what’s to come, pretty much flushing Game 5 down the toilet (via Joey Linn).
Ty Lue: “We just didn’t play well all around… That’s okay. Turn the page. They still gotta win four games.”
Mentioned the Clippers were down 3-2 the last time they played Dallas.

Lue also remembered that the Clippers were in this very same position the last time they met, and they wound up winning the series.
Lue is a solid coach who’s known for his in-series adjustments, and he’s no stranger to this kind of position by any means.
Then again, the Mavericks are no pushovers, either.
They’ve played outstanding defense to close out the season, and they have two of the most talented scorers this game has ever seen sharing touches on the backcourt.
All signs point toward this series going the distance to seven games, and the Oklahoma City Thunder would definitely love that, as they’ve already secured a spot in the Western Conference Semifinals after sweeping the Pelicans.
