Erik ten Hag Puts “Embarrassing” English Media on Blast After Facing Criticism Following Win Over Coventry

There’s no such thing as a free lunch! It seems like Erik ten Hag is growing frustrated with his position at Old Trafford, with the Manchester United boss under constant fire from the media. United bagged a win on penalties over Coventry this Sunday, securing their place in the finals of the FA Cup. However, fans and the media were not too impressed with the team’s performance as the side bottled a 3-0 lead in the final 20 minutes of the game. While everyone has something to say about Manchester United’s performance, it doesn’t seem like Erik ten Hag is going to crash without firing shots of his own!

Erik ten Hag addressed the media ahead of the team’s Premier League clash against Sheffield United. During the press conference, when the manager was asked to justify his team’s performance against Coventry, the Dutchman had a meltdown as he bashed the journalists in the room. The United boss stated, “The reaction, the comments after the Coventry game. That was a disgrace. That was embarrassing from you. It is the comments. Top football is about results. We made it to a final, and we deserved it not only by this game but also the other games.”
