Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton said he is enjoying time with Kim Kardashian’s family and revealed he recently gave her children a puppy, speaking at a press panel ahead of the United States Grand Prix in Austin on Oct. 24.
Hamilton calls Kardashian his girlfriend and describes family moments
At the Circuit of the Americas media session, Hamilton, 41, described the joy he finds in spending time with children in his circle and expressly referred to Kardashian as his girlfriend. He said he has enjoyed getting to know her four children and confirmed he had given them a dog this year.
“My girlfriend’s kids, I love spending time with them. I got them a dog this year, so little Halo is a new member of that family,” said Lewis Hamilton.
Kardashian shares four children with her ex-husband, rapper Kanye West: daughter North, 13; son Saint, 10; daughter Chicago, 8; and son Psalm, 7. Hamilton said his own niece and nephew have long been a source of happiness for him and that he enjoys playing with Kardashian’s children as well.
Public outings and social media glimpses
The remarks follow several public outings and social-media posts this year that have shown Hamilton spending time with Kardashian and some members of her family. In July, Kardashian posted images from a lake vacation that included Hamilton and some of her children. Hamilton also shared photos of family moments, including one captioned, “Hold your people close.”
The puppy, identified by Kardashian in earlier posts as a Golden Retriever named Halo, was first shown publicly in a July Instagram post previewing the family’s lake trip. Hamilton’s comments at the Austin press session provided the first direct confirmation from him that he had given the dog to Kardashian’s children.
